Dundie Award (Chrome) (Gold)

The Dundie Award, represented here as Funko Pop number 1062, originates from the long-running sitcom The Office. In the show’s narrative, the Dundies are an annual awards ceremony hosted by regional manager Michael Scott, serving as a cringeworthy yet sentimental cornerstone of the Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch culture. This particular vinyl figure captures the iconic gold-colored trophy, which is modeled after a classic plastic figurine meant to evoke the prestige of major industry awards while ironically rewarding mundane office accomplishments.

Funko’s design team developed this piece as part of their broader Pop! Television line to capture the cult phenomenon status of the series. By selecting the Dundie as a standalone subject, the designers focused on one of the most recognizable props from the show’s run. Upon its release, the figure was received warmly by the collecting community, functioning less as a character portrait and more as a piece of meta-memorabilia that references the show's internal mythology and its enduring influence on internet culture.
