Dunharrow King /9500

The Dunharrow King figure, numbered 1770 in the Pop! Television series, was released by Funko as part of their expanding collection based on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. This piece draws inspiration from the spectral Army of the Dead encountered by Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli at the Paths of the Dead. It was designed to capture the eerie, translucent aesthetic of the oath-breakers who haunt the mountains of Dunharrow, utilizing the signature Funko silhouette to translate the cinematic costume design into a stylized collectible format.

Funko’s design team frequently leverages the Pop! medium to revisit niche characters from large-scale fantasy franchises, and this figure reflects their ongoing commitment to deep-cut characters from the Tolkien mythos. Released to coincide with broader waves of Middle-earth merchandise, the figure focuses on the armored, ghostly appearance of the King of the Dead. It has been received by the collector community as a distinct addition for those aiming to complete their spectral lineups, maintaining the consistent design language that characterizes the broader Lord of the Rings series.
