Where it came from
Emperor Zurg, the iconic antagonist from the Toy Story franchise, was immortalized as figure number 34 in the Funko Pop! Disney series. This figure captures the character's distinct purple armor, menacing cape, and his signature ion blaster, reflecting his role as Buzz Lightyear's nemesis and the sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance.
The design of this Pop! vinyl figure draws directly from Zurg’s appearance in Toy Story 2. Funko’s stylized aesthetic translates his intricate robotic features into the signature oversized head and simplified proportions characteristic of the Pop! line. Upon its release, it became a sought-after piece for Pixar collectors, representing a quintessential villain from the studio's early filmography.
