Fear

Released in 2015, this figure is part of the original Funko Pop! Disney wave for the Pixar film Inside Out. The collection was designed to capture the distinct, caricature-like silhouettes of the anthropomorphic emotions living inside the protagonist's mind, serving as a tie-in to the film's theatrical debut. These figures utilize the signature Funko aesthetic—oversized heads, minimalist facial features, and compact bodies—to translate complex emotional states into stylized vinyl collectibles.

The design of the Fear figure focuses on his neurotic, spindly appearance, complete with his signature purple complexion, sweater vest, and frantic expression. Funko’s design team aimed to balance the character's erratic, high-strung personality with the uniform format of the Pop! line. Upon its release, the Inside Out series was well-received by fans of both the studio's animation and the growing hobby of vinyl collecting, often noted for how effectively the simple form factor conveyed the character's jittery essence.
