Genie

The Genie Funko Pop, numbered 54 within the Disney line, represents the iconic character from the 1992 animated classic Aladdin. Funko introduced this figure as part of their burgeoning Pop! Disney series, which aimed to capture the essence of beloved cinematic characters through the brand's signature stylized, oversized-head aesthetic. The design highlights the Genie's distinct blue complexion and expressive, exaggerated features, drawing heavily from the animation style popularized by Eric Goldberg during the film's production.

Upon its release, the figure became a cornerstone for Disney collectors, serving as a nostalgic touchstone for fans of the Disney Renaissance era. It reflects the design philosophy of the early Funko Pop releases, which focused on essential character markers such as the Genie's gold cuffs and ponytail. The figure was well-received as an accessible collectible that bridged the gap between traditional character merchandising and the burgeoning designer toy movement of the early 2010s.
