Glove World SpongeBob

Glove World SpongeBob, designated as number 1671 in the Funko Pop! Animation series, celebrates a memorable location from the long-running Nickelodeon series SpongeBob SquarePants. The figure depicts SpongeBob in his iconic square shorts, accessorized with the distinct, oversized foam finger glove synonymous with the amusement park featured in the show's early episodes. This release is part of Funko's ongoing commitment to archiving significant pop culture moments through its signature stylized, big-headed aesthetic.

The design draws directly from the show’s animation style, emphasizing the whimsical, nautical aesthetic that creator Stephen Hillenburg established for the series. Like other entries in the Animation line, this figure captures a specific scene—in this case, SpongeBob's visit to the underwater theme park—to appeal to collectors who value nostalgic storytelling. It reflects the broader trend of character-specific variants that prioritize capturing unique accessories over standard character poses.
