Glootie (Summer) (Signed by Taika Waititi)

Glootie is a character introduced in the fourth season of the adult animated science fiction series Rick and Morty. The character, a spindly alien intern designed by the show's creative team, serves as a satirical commentary on corporate culture and the intrusive nature of modern mobile applications. This particular Funko Pop! figure, number 575 in the Animation series, captures the character's signature look from the episode 'One Crew over the Crewcoo's Morty,' reflecting the show's penchant for bizarre character designs and meta-humor.

This specific item features the autograph of Taika Waititi, who provided the voice for Glootie. Waititi’s involvement in the series was highly anticipated by fans, and his signature on these figures is typically sought after by collectors who value the intersection of voice acting and animation memorabilia. The design of the figure adheres to Funko's standard aesthetic, scaling the character’s unique physical traits down to a compact, stylized vinyl form that maintains the whimsical, yet slightly cynical tone of the Rick and Morty franchise.
