Where it came from
Guillotine, designated as Pop! Games number 298, was released as part of the Marvel Contest of Champions line by Funko. The character, a French heroine named Jeanine Godoy who wields the mystical sword La Fleur du Mal, was created specifically for the mobile fighting game by Kabam in collaboration with Marvel. This figure brings the character's distinct gothic aesthetic, complete with her signature sword and stylized outfit, into the classic Funko Pop format.
The design of the figure emphasizes the character's unique visual identity, featuring her dark color palette and iconic weapon. As a collectible within the Marvel Contest of Champions series, the figure served to expand the roster of game-specific characters available to fans of both the mobile title and the broader Marvel merchandise ecosystem. It was released during a period when Funko was actively broadening its scope to include characters from diverse gaming origins beyond traditional comic book panels.
