Hanuman (Emerald)

The Hanuman Pop! figure, released under the Pop! Asia line, draws from the central protagonist of the Hindu epic the Ramayana. Known for his strength, devotion, and supernatural abilities, Hanuman is a foundational figure in South Asian mythology. This specific Emerald variant was created as a stylistic variation within the broader Pop! Asia collection, which Funko developed to celebrate diverse cultural iconography and regional folklore across the Asian market.

The design follows the signature stylized aesthetic of Funko's Pop! vinyl figures, featuring the characteristic enlarged head and simplified, expressive features. By rendering Hanuman in a translucent emerald finish, the designers aimed to evoke the precious quality of gemstones often associated with divine figures in traditional Indian art. The figure was well-received by international collectors who value the intersection of contemporary pop culture design with globally significant mythological subjects.
