Hanuman (Glow in the Dark)

The Hanuman Pop! figure was released as part of the Pop! Asia series, a branch of the Funko line dedicated to representing cultural figures, deities, and characters from across the Asian continent. Released under the Legendary Creatures & Myths banner, this figure depicts the revered Hindu deity Hanuman, celebrated for his strength, devotion, and central role in the Ramayana epic. The glow-in-the-dark variant was produced as a specialty edition, appealing to collectors who appreciate both the spiritual significance of the subject matter and the aesthetic flair of unique material finishes.

The design follows Funko's signature stylized aesthetic, featuring the characteristic large head and simplified features that define the brand. By translating a complex mythological figure into this minimalist format, Funko aimed to bridge the gap between traditional iconography and modern designer toy culture. While the Pop! Asia series has seen varying levels of distribution, these figures are generally regarded as a bridge for global fans to engage with diverse mythologies through a recognizable and collectable medium.
