Harley Quinn (Black & White)

The Harley Quinn (Black & White) Pop figure, numbered 34 in the DC Comics line, was released as a stylized collectible variant of the character's classic jester appearance. It emerged during the earlier era of Funko’s Pop vinyl line, reflecting the company’s focus on reimagining iconic comic book archetypes through their signature large-headed, minimalist aesthetic. The choice to render the figure in monochromatic tones paid homage to the stark, dramatic visuals often found in noir-inspired comic book art and variant cover editions.

The design draws directly from Bruce Timm’s original creation of the character for Batman: The Animated Series, emphasizing her distinctive jester hat and domino mask while stripping away the traditional red-and-black color palette. By focusing on a black-and-white scheme, the figure leans into the graphic nature of comic illustrations, offering collectors a piece that feels more like a monochromatic sketch come to life. Upon its release, it became a notable piece for fans of the DC line who sought a more sophisticated or muted interpretation of the popular anti-hero.
