Harley Quinn (Bombshells) (Vintage)

The Harley Quinn figure, number 166 in the Pop! Heroes line, is part of the DC Comics Bombshells collection. This series reimagines iconic female characters from the DC Universe in the aesthetic of 1940s pin-up art, a style originally popularized by illustrator Ant Lucia. The collection was developed to celebrate the mid-century wartime propaganda posters and nose art that defined an era of illustration, blending the gritty nature of comic book protagonists with a stylized, nostalgic vintage glamour.

The figure features Harley Quinn in a classic red and black color palette, incorporating the signature bold lines and simplified features characteristic of the Funko Pop aesthetic. When the Bombshells line launched, it was well-received by fans for its distinct departure from the traditional superhero suit designs. The figure reflects the collaborative effort between DC Comics' character designers and the Funko creative team, aiming to translate the complex, illustrative style of the source comic art into a accessible, collectible vinyl format.
