He-Man (Raising Sword) (Glow in the Dark) (Special Edition)

The He-Man Glow in the Dark figure, cataloged as number 991 in the Funko Pop! Television series, was released to commemorate the enduring legacy of the Masters of the Universe franchise. It captures the iconic transformation pose of Prince Adam as he raises the Power Sword to summon the strength of Grayskull, a central motif of the 1980s animated series. This special edition variant was produced to celebrate the nostalgic appeal of the original character design, incorporating phosphorescent materials to highlight the magical aura associated with his transformation.

The design follows Funko's signature stylized aesthetic, featuring the oversized head and simplified proportions that define the Pop! line. By integrating glow-in-the-dark elements, the designers aimed to provide a tactile nod to the play features found in many vintage action figure lines. Upon release, the figure was widely embraced by collectors who value both the specific aesthetic of the Masters of the Universe aesthetic and the modern collectible trends established by Funko in the early 2020s.
