Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Games series, this figure of Heihachi Mishima from Tekken Tag Tournament 2 celebrates one of the most recognizable icons in fighting game history. The figure captures the character's signature spiked hair, intense expression, and classic gi, reflecting the broader initiative to translate complex digital character models into the simplified, stylized aesthetic that defined the Pop! vinyl line during the early 2010s.
The design process for the Tekken series aimed to preserve key personality traits within Funko's distinct bobblehead-inspired template. Heihachi was selected due to his foundational role in the franchise narrative, serving as the central antagonist of the Mishima Zaibatsu storyline. Upon release, the figure was well-received by the fighting game community and toy collectors alike, serving as a tangible tribute to Namco's long-running competitive gaming legacy.
