Where it came from
Devil Jin was released as part of the Funko Pop! Games line, representing the iconic Tekken franchise. This figure depicts the corrupted, demon-possessed form of Jin Kazama, a central protagonist turned antagonist in the series, who first appeared as a secret character in Tekken 3. The design leans into the character's signature dark aesthetic, featuring his prominent black wings, glowing yellow eyes, and the distinct tribal tattoos that mark his transformation.
Funko launched this series to capitalize on the enduring popularity of fighting game icons during the mid-2010s. The figure was produced to provide fans of the long-running Namco series with a stylized, collectible representation of the character's most sinister form. It was received by the gaming community as a faithful, if simplified, interpretation of a complex character model, capturing his aggressive stance while maintaining the standardized Funko aesthetic.
