Hello Kitty (Rainbow)

The Hello Kitty Rainbow Pop! figure was released as part of the wider Funko Pop! Sanrio collection, which began in 2012 to celebrate the enduring global appeal of Sanrio's most iconic character. This specific design was created to commemorate the character's 40th anniversary, reflecting the brand's long-standing tradition of utilizing vibrant, celebratory color palettes to engage both young audiences and nostalgic adult collectors.

Designed within the signature Funko aesthetic, the figure features the oversized head and minimalist features characteristic of the Pop! line, scaled to emphasize the rainbow-patterned bow that serves as the focal point of the piece. While Sanrio merchandise is inherently produced for mass appeal, this specific iteration was well-received by fans for its cheerful departure from the standard red-bow motif, serving as a bright representative of the character's expansive licensing legacy.
