Henry Bowers

Henry Bowers, the primary human antagonist from Stephen King's IT, was released as part of the Funko Pop! Digital series. These collectibles were introduced as part of a platform that integrates physical figures with non-fungible tokens, allowing collectors to redeem digital assets for exclusive physical releases. This particular figure represents a departure from traditional retail distribution, catering to a niche segment of the collecting community interested in the intersection of digital scarcity and traditional vinyl toy manufacturing.

The design of the figure draws directly from the 2017 film adaptation of IT, capturing Bowers' distinctively unkempt, 1980s aesthetic. Funko’s design team emphasized his characteristic switchblade and rugged attire, aiming to replicate the menacing intensity portrayed by the character on screen. As a series, the Pop! Digital line was received with mixed interest by the broader collecting community, often viewed as a experimental foray into blockchain-linked merchandise while maintaining the signature, oversized head styling that defines the brand.
