Where it came from
Released as part of the Pop! Animation line in 2017, this figure depicts Him, the primary antagonist from the animated series The Powerpuff Girls. The character was originally created by Craig McCracken and is known for his signature flamboyant appearance, high-pitched voice, and demonic nature. The Funko design captures his iconic look, including his lobster-like claws, red complexion, and distinctively tall, pointed boots, reflecting the show's stylized aesthetic.
The figure was produced during a period when Funko was expanding its Animation series to include cult classic series from the late 1990s and early 2000s. As one of the few collectibles dedicated to the show's villain, it serves as a nostalgic piece for fans of the original Cartoon Network era. The design choice aimed to balance the character's unsettling persona with the characteristic simplified proportions and oversized head that define the Pop! aesthetic.
