Hospital Nurse Joker

The Hospital Nurse Joker figure, released as number 38 in the Pop! Heroes line, is based on the iconic scene from Christopher Nolan’s 2008 film, The Dark Knight. In this sequence, Heath Ledger’s Joker disguises himself as a nurse to infiltrate Gotham General Hospital, an outfit that stands out for its jarring contrast between the mundane medical scrubs and the character’s chaotic makeup. Funko produced this figure to capture the specific aesthetic of this cinematic moment, catering to collectors who focus on the darker, more gritty portrayals of DC Comics villains.

The design follows the traditional Funko Pop! aesthetic, featuring the oversized head and simplified facial features characteristic of the brand, while incorporating the distinct floral-patterned nurse’s uniform and the 'Matilda' name tag seen in the film. As part of The Dark Knight Trilogy sub-series, the figure was well-received by fans of the franchise for its attention to detail in replicating one of the movie's most memorable visual transformations. It remains a notable piece within the broader Heroes line, bridging the gap between mainstream comic book collectibles and film-specific memorabilia.
