Where it came from
The I Care Bear Funko Pop, numbered 1292 within the Pop! Animation series, was released to commemorate the character originally introduced by American Greetings in 2022. This bear was designed with an eco-conscious theme, featuring a green and blue color palette representing the Earth, intended to promote environmental awareness and sustainability among the Care Bears franchise's younger audience.
Funko’s stylized interpretation of the character maintains the brand's signature aesthetic, featuring a large, cubic head and simplified features. The figure was produced as part of the broader Care Bears line, which has experienced a significant revival in popularity among nostalgic adult collectors and children alike, leading Funko to expand the collection to include various iconic bears from the original 1980s series and its modern iterations.
