Izuku Midoriya [Barnes & Noble GITD] (Special Edition)

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Animation line, this figure depicts Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist of the popular manga and anime series My Hero Academia. This specific iteration was produced as a Barnes & Noble exclusive, distinguished by its glow-in-the-dark finish which highlights Midoriya’s signature 'One For All' Quirk-activated energy currents. The design captures the character in his classic hero costume, reflecting the series' focus on superhero training and personal growth.

The figure is part of a broader collaboration between Funko and the My Hero Academia franchise, which has seen extensive expansion due to the global success of Kohei Horikoshi’s original work. Funko’s design team utilized their standard stylized aesthetic to translate the intricate details of Midoriya’s combat suit into a vinyl form. Like many exclusive retailer releases in the anime category, it was intended to serve as a collectible centerpiece for fans of the show, focusing on the visual representation of the character's most iconic power-up moments.
