Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Disney series, this 10-inch figure commemorates the 1993 stop-motion classic The Nightmare Before Christmas, directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton. The oversized silhouette was developed to offer collectors a more substantial, display-oriented version of the iconic protagonist Jack Skellington alongside his spectral companion, Zero. This design shift toward larger-scale figures reflects Funko’s strategy to expand the visual presence of their most popular pop culture staples.
The figure retains the hallmark aesthetic of the Pop! line, featuring the oversized head, simplified facial features, and distinct button-like eyes that have come to define the brand since its inception. By scaling the character up to 10 inches, the designers aimed to capture finer details of Jack’s pinstriped suit and Zero’s translucent spirit form that are often lost on the standard 3.75-inch figures. It was received by fans of the franchise as a premium centerpiece, catering to those who prefer detailed, large-format representations of cult cinematic icons.
