Jean Rasczak

Jean Rasczak, portrayed by Michael Ironside in the 1997 science fiction film Starship Troopers, was immortalized as Funko Pop! figure number 1050 within the Pop! Movies line. The character serves as the grizzled, one-armed lieutenant and later instructor who guides the film's protagonists through the brutal realities of the interstellar war against the Arachnids. His design reflects the iconic Mobile Infantry armor, capturing the tactical aesthetic and military stoicism of Paul Verhoeven’s satirical masterpiece.

This figure was released to celebrate the cult status of the film, which has gained significant appreciation over the decades for its biting social commentary and distinctive visual effects. Funko’s approach to the character leans into the rugged, no-nonsense silhouette of the film’s version of Rasczak, complete with the character’s signature military attire and hardened expression. It is widely considered a staple for collectors of science fiction memorabilia who focus on characters from influential 1990s genre cinema.
