Where it came from
Julius Novachrono, the 28th Wizard King of the Clover Kingdom, was released as part of the Funko Pop! Animation line under number 1553. This figure depicts the character in his iconic attire, reflecting his pivotal role as the leader of the Magic Knights in the popular manga and anime series Black Clover, created by Yuki Tabata. The design focuses on translating the character's intricate magical robes and youthful yet wise demeanor into the recognizable, simplified aesthetic of the Pop! vinyl collection.
The figure serves as a tribute to the character’s complex narrative arc and his obsession with unique magic types. Funko’s design team aimed to capture his signature appearance, including his distinctive forehead mark, to provide fans with a tangible representation of the series' most powerful mentor figure. Upon its release, it became a standard addition for collectors documenting the series' expansive roster of characters, maintaining the stylized proportions consistent with the Animation line's branding.
