Where it came from
The Katayanagi Twins Pop! 2-pack was released as a limited edition exclusive for the 2017 New York Comic Con. These figures depict Kyle and Ken Katayanagi, the fifth and sixth evil exes from Bryan Lee O'Malley’s graphic novel series and the 2010 film adaptation, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. The release was designed to cater to fans of the cult-classic film and the distinctive aesthetic of the Oni Press source material.
The figures were designed in the signature Funko aesthetic, featuring the oversized heads and minimalist features standard to the Pop! line. The twins are depicted in their sleek, contemporary attire, capturing the film's visual flair. Upon release, the set was highly sought after by collectors of the Scott Pilgrim franchise, who appreciated the inclusion of these two supporting antagonists as a single, thematic bundle.
