Provenance

Where it came from

The Vegan Police 2-pack was released by Funko as part of their Pop! Movies line, specifically honoring the 2010 cult classic film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. The figures represent the two officers who appear to strip Scott of his 'vegan powers' after he consumes a dairy-based gelato, a pivotal and comedic moment that parodies high-concept action tropes within the film's stylized, graphic novel-inspired universe.

The design of these figures draws directly from the aesthetic established by Bryan Lee O'Malley in the source graphic novels and adapted for the film by director Edgar Wright. Funko designers aimed to capture the characters' distinct authority-figure silhouettes and signature badges, catering to fans of the franchise’s specific brand of humor. Upon release, the set was received as a sought-after niche collectible for those invested in the film's deep roster of supporting characters.
