Kate Pryde

Kate Pryde, also known as Shadowcat, is a central figure in the X-Men franchise, first introduced by Chris Claremont and John Byrne in 1980. This specific Funko Pop! figure, numbered 952, was released as part of the broader Marvel line to commemorate the character's long-standing role as one of the most prominent members of the mutant team. The design captures her classic costumed appearance, reflecting the aesthetic shifts of her modern comic iterations while maintaining the signature stylized proportions characteristic of the Pop! vinyl series.

The figure was manufactured to appeal to both long-time comic book enthusiasts and modern collectors of the Pop! Marvel series. Funko has consistently produced figures based on the X-Men lineage to honor the team's expansive history, and this release serves as an entry point for fans of the character's ability to phase through solid matter. Like many items in the Marvel collection, its design focuses on recognizable color palettes and iconic character elements to ensure immediate recognition within the vast, rapidly expanding roster of Funko figures.
