Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Marvel line, this figure depicts Polaris, the daughter of Magneto and a long-standing member of the X-Men. The design captures her iconic green-and-black costume and her signature magnetism-infused energy effects, drawing inspiration from her appearances in Marvel comics where she is defined by her control over electromagnetic forces and her complex psychological history.
The figure was produced during a period of expanded focus on X-Men characters within the Pop! vinyl range, aiming to provide representation for fans of classic comic book iterations. Funko designers prioritized her vibrant green hair and distinct headband, elements that remain central to the character's visual identity. Upon release, it was well-received by collectors who sought to round out their X-Men rosters beyond the core members like Wolverine or Cyclops.
