Where it came from
Released as an exclusive for the 2019 New York Comic Con, this Pop! Town set features the iconic floating house from the 2009 Pixar film Up, accompanied by a figure of Kevin, the elusive tropical bird. The set captures one of the film's most memorable visual motifs, representing the whimsical and emotional journey undertaken by Carl Fredricksen and Russell. It was produced by Funko as part of their Town line, which pairs stylized character figures with small-scale dioramas of signature buildings from their respective franchises.
The design emphasizes the vibrant, saturated palette characteristic of Pixar animation, with the house featuring the weathered yet colorful aesthetic seen in the film. By including Kevin, Funko catered to fans of the film's wildlife elements, balancing the architectural focus of the set with a fan-favorite character. As a convention exclusive, the item was met with high demand among Funko collectors, serving as a decorative tribute to the legacy of the film and its enduring themes of adventure and companionship.
