Where it came from
The Moopsy figure, designated number 1752 in the Pop! Television line, represents the viral creature from the Star Trek: Lower Decks episode 'Moopsy'. The character gained immediate notoriety for its deceptive, adorable appearance contrasting sharply with its violent, bone-consuming nature, quickly cementing itself as a fan-favorite oddity within the modern Star Trek canon.
Designed by the Funko creative team, the figure captures the character's signature wide-eyed, spherical aesthetic and toothy grin. It was released to capitalize on the creature's status as a breakout meme within the franchise's fandom, aiming to provide a tactile version of the animated character that balances its unsettling backstory with the traditionally cute Funko vinyl styling.
