Spock

The Spock Pop! Digital figure, numbered 16 in the series, was released by Funko as part of their venture into the non-fungible token market. This specific line reimagined classic pop culture icons through a digital-first medium, requiring collectors to purchase packs of digital trading cards to secure a chance at redeeming a corresponding physical vinyl figure. The design reflects the classic aesthetic of the original Star Trek television series, aiming to modernize the character's iconic silhouette while maintaining the distinct, oversized-head caricature that defines the broader Funko Pop! brand.

This item emerged during the height of the digital collectibles craze, reflecting a broader industry pivot toward blockchain-authenticated merchandise. Designed by Funko's internal creative team, the figure draws heavily on the legacy of Leonard Nimoy’s portrayal of the Vulcan science officer. While the transition from digital asset to physical collectible sparked mixed reactions among traditional toy enthusiasts, the figure remains a notable example of Funko’s attempt to bridge the gap between virtual ownership and physical display pieces.
