Mumm-Ra (Black)

Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living, serves as the iconic primary antagonist of the 1980s animated series ThunderCats. This specific iteration, released under the Funko Pop! vinyl figure line, continues the franchise's long-standing tradition of reimagining classic Saturday morning cartoon characters through Funko's signature stylized aesthetic. The figure was produced as a specialty variant, utilizing a monochromatic black color scheme to offer a distinct, minimalist take on the character's traditional Egyptian-inspired wrappings and headdress.

The design follows the standard Funko Pop! form factor, emphasizing the character's menacing stature and skeletal facial features despite the lack of vibrant color. As part of the broader ThunderCats collection, this figure appeals to nostalgia-driven collectors who value unique color variants. The item reflects the ongoing industry trend of releasing 'noir' or 'grayscale' editions of popular pop culture icons, which are generally received by the collecting community as stylistic curiosities that highlight the structural design of the sculpt.
