Where it came from
The Mummy Boy figure, numbered 600 within the Disney Pop! line, represents a secondary character from Tim Burton's 1993 stop-motion classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Released to coincide with the film's enduring popularity and the ongoing expansion of the Funko Disney collection, the figure captures the distinctive, wrapped aesthetic of the character as seen in the halls of Halloweentown.
The design of this Pop! figure reflects the brand's signature aesthetic of oversized heads and minimalist features, adapted here to translate the character's eerie, bandaged appearance into a compact vinyl form. Like much of the Nightmare Before Christmas series, the Mummy Boy was created to serve the dedicated fanbase of the franchise, aiming to provide a whimsical yet accurate representation of the film's background inhabitants that fans and collectors seek to complete their displays.
