Nemesis Prime (Retro)

Nemesis Prime is a dark, recurring mirror image of the iconic Autobot leader Optimus Prime within the Transformers franchise. Introduced as a corrupted clone or a sinister doppelgänger, the character typically features a distinctive black, teal, and silver color scheme. This Pop! figure, designated number 36 in the Retro Toys line, serves as a nostalgic tribute to the character’s legacy within the 1980s aesthetic that defines the origins of the brand.

Designed with the signature Funko aesthetic—a stylized head and simplified proportions—this figure captures the grim allure of the Decepticon-aligned character. As part of the Retro Toys series, it was produced to appeal to long-term fans who grew up with the original animated series and toy line. It was received as a sought-after variant for collectors, bridging the gap between contemporary vinyl figure design and the classic heritage of the Transformers toy universe.
