Number Five (Mask)

Number Five, identified as figure 932 in the Funko Pop! Television line, was released to coincide with the popularity of the Netflix adaptation of Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá’s comic series, The Umbrella Academy. The figure depicts the time-traveling protagonist in his signature school uniform, complete with his youthful appearance that belies his true age. Funko designed this piece to capture the character's signature stoic expression and the aesthetic of the Hargreeves family’s academy attire, catering to a fanbase that grew significantly following the series' 2019 debut.

The figure reflects the standard design language of the Pop! Television series, characterized by a stylized oversized head and minimalist features. It was produced as part of a wave of figures representing the primary cast of the show, focusing on recognizable iconography such as Five’s blazer and tie. Upon its release, the figure was well-received by collectors of contemporary vinyl toys and fans of the source material alike, becoming a staple representation of the character in the broader Umbrella Academy merchandising landscape.
