Orochimaru

Orochimaru, numbered 729 in the Pop! Animation line, was released as part of the expansion of Funko's Naruto: Shippuden collection. Created to celebrate the iconic antagonist from the long-running manga and anime series, the figure captures the character's distinct appearance, including his signature serpent-like features and pale aesthetic, which were central to Masashi Kishimoto's original character design. The figure serves as a staple for fans of the series, reflecting the darker, complex nature of the character who has remained a primary adversary throughout the franchise.

The design follows Funko’s standardized stylized aesthetic, balancing the character's formidable presence with the approachable, large-headed format that defines the brand. The figure was developed to meet the high demand for core characters in the Naruto canon, aiming to translate the high-stakes intensity of the animation into a collectible desk-sized form. It was received as a standard but essential addition to the line, allowing collectors to complete the series' primary antagonist roster alongside other key figures from the Hidden Leaf Village.
