Pepe Le Pew

Pepe Le Pew debuted as Pop! Animation number 395 as part of Funko’s expansive coverage of the classic Looney Tunes franchise. This figure was designed to capture the iconic appearance of the amorous skunk, characterized by his distinct black-and-white fur and the signature white stripe running down his back. The design prioritizes the recognizable, stylized aesthetic typical of the Pop! line, featuring the oversized head and simplified, clean features that have become a hallmark of the series since its inception.

The character himself originated in the 1945 short 'Odor-able Kitty' and became a staple of the Warner Bros. animation library under the direction of Chuck Jones. When Funko brought the character into the Pop! Animation series, the intent was to provide fans of mid-century animation with a tactile piece of television history. Upon release, the figure was generally well-received by collectors who sought to complete their Looney Tunes sets, serving as a nostalgic nod to the golden age of American theatrical cartoons.
