Where it came from
The Taz Pop! figure, numbered 312 in the Animation series, represents the Tasmanian Devil, one of the most recognizable characters from the classic Looney Tunes shorts produced by Warner Bros. Originally debuting in the 1954 short Devil May Hare, the character was designed by Robert McKimson and became a staple of the studio's animation library due to his chaotic energy and distinct, whirlwind-like animation style.
Funko introduced this figure as part of its ongoing Looney Tunes line to celebrate the enduring legacy of the Golden Age of American animation. The design follows the company's signature aesthetic, featuring a stylized oversized head and simplified proportions intended to capture the character's manic expression. The figure was released to appeal to both nostalgia-driven adult collectors and a new generation of fans introduced to the franchise through modern media revivals.
