Pete (Kingdom Hearts) (Black & White)

Released as part of the Pop! Games line under number 264, this Pete figure pays homage to the character's long history as one of Disney's oldest villains. The figure features a monochromatic, black-and-white color scheme, a stylistic choice intended to evoke the aesthetic of early animation classics like Steamboat Willie, where Pete first appeared in 1928.

This specific variant was designed to appeal to Kingdom Hearts collectors by blending modern collectible toy design with a nostalgic nod to the golden age of animation. Funko’s design team emphasized the character's signature silhouette—stout, mischievous, and iconic—ensuring the figure remained recognizable despite the lack of color. It was received as a niche variant within the broader Kingdom Hearts set, favored by fans who appreciate the meta-narrative connection between the game's Disney roots and the evolution of the medium.
