Where it came from
The Pringles Julius Pringle Pop! figure, numbered 106 in the Ad Icons series, was released by Funko to celebrate the enduring legacy of the snack brand. Julius Pringle, commonly known as Mr. P, has served as the official mascot for the brand since its inception in 1968, representing the iconic curved chip design developed by Procter & Gamble to ensure a stackable, uniform product that resisted breakage.
The design of the figure captures the mascot's distinctive features, including his iconic mustache, parted hair, and red bow tie. Funko’s Ad Icons line is curated to honor corporate mascots that have achieved status as cultural touchstones. This piece follows the brand's tradition of minimalist yet recognizable character design, which was originally updated in the early 2000s to streamline the character’s appearance for a modern market.
