Where it came from
Proxy is a character originating from the 2008 video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, serving as a training droid and companion to Starkiller. As a sophisticated holodroid, he is uniquely programmed to simulate the combat styles of various Jedi and Sith, making him a central figure in the game's narrative. Funko released this Pop! figure as number 551 within the Star Wars collection to capture the character's distinct appearance and importance to the expanded universe lore.
The design of the figure emphasizes Proxy's skeletal, mechanical aesthetic, mirroring the character's appearance in his unmasked, operational state. Funko designers aimed to balance the character's functional, industrial look with the signature stylized features of the Pop! line, such as the oversized head and simplified facial features. The figure was well-received by fans of The Force Unleashed who appreciated the inclusion of non-film characters in the expansive Star Wars toy catalog.
