Purge Trooper [Summer Convention]

The Purge Trooper Pop! figure, numbered 533, was released as a Summer Convention exclusive within the Star Wars collection. Based on the elite soldiers first introduced in the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game, these specialized clones were repurposed by the Inquisitorius to hunt surviving Jedi following the events of Order 66. The design captures the troopers' distinct matte black armor and crimson visor, reflecting their grim aesthetic as seen in both the game and their live-action appearance in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

Funko designed this piece to appeal to fans of the expanded Star Wars lore, focusing on the tactical, intimidating silhouette that separates the Purge Troopers from standard infantry. By incorporating the specific visual cues of their specialized gear, the figure serves as a direct nod to the darker chapters of the Galactic Empire's rise. Like many convention-exclusive figures, it was produced to celebrate specific niche characters that might not appear in standard retail waves, finding a receptive audience among collectors who prioritize deep-cut characters from the modern Star Wars canon.
