Ram Man [SDCC]

Ram Man, released as number 658 in the Pop! Television line, was introduced as a 2019 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive to celebrate the enduring legacy of Masters of the Universe. The figure draws inspiration from the iconic 1980s animated series and toy line by Mattel, capturing the character’s signature mechanical spring-action aesthetic and robust armor. Its release served as a nod to the nostalgic revival of the He-Man franchise, which has seen a sustained resurgence in adult collector markets.

The design follows the classic Funko Pop aesthetic, featuring the oversized head and stylized proportions that define the brand. By emphasizing his exaggerated, stout build and the bold red and silver color scheme of his classic battle gear, the illustrators aimed to evoke the tactile feel of the original vintage action figure. The piece was well-received upon its debut at the convention, quickly becoming a sought-after item for fans of the He-Man universe and those documenting the transition of 80s icons into modern vinyl collectibles.
