Ranger Smith

Ranger Smith is a central figure in the Hanna-Barbera television franchise centered on Yogi Bear, first appearing in the 1958 series The Huckleberry Hound Show. As the long-suffering, rule-abiding antagonist to Yogi, he embodies the archetypal authority figure struggling to maintain order in Jellystone Park. The character was designed to act as a comedic foil, highlighting Yogi’s cunning nature through his own persistent and often futile attempts to enforce park regulations.

The Funko Pop! Animation figure, numbered 189, was released to honor the enduring legacy of this classic cartoon character. Like much of the Pop! Animation line, the design prioritizes Funko’s signature aesthetic—a stylized, oversized head and minimalist features—while capturing the ranger’s recognizable green uniform and stoic expression. It serves as a nostalgic piece for fans of mid-century American animation, celebrating the Hanna-Barbera era that defined Saturday morning television for generations.
