Where it came from
The Reese's Pop! figure, designated number 198 in the Ad Icons series, was released by Funko to celebrate the enduring legacy of the Hershey Company's signature peanut butter cup. First introduced in 1928 by H.B. Reese, a former dairy employee of Milton Hershey, the candy became a cultural staple throughout the twentieth century. This figure serves as a nostalgic tribute to the brand's iconic orange-and-brown packaging and its status as an quintessential American confection.
Designed in Funko’s signature stylized aesthetic, the figure captures the anthropomorphic essence of the brand, blending minimalist form with the instantly recognizable color palette of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. The design is part of a broader Funko strategy to archive pop culture history by transforming classic brand mascots and logos into vinyl collectibles. Like many entries in the Ad Icons line, it was received favorably by collectors who value the intersection of commercial history and contemporary toy design.
