Remy [Diamond]

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Disney series, the Remy figurine numbered 1201 depicts the protagonist from the 2007 Pixar film Ratatouille. This particular iteration features a 'Diamond Collection' finish, a stylistic variant produced by Funko that incorporates a glittered texture over the standard vinyl sculpt. The design remains faithful to the character's original animation model, capturing his signature chef's hat and expressive features, intended to appeal to collectors looking for a premium, shimmering aesthetic for their displays.

The figure originated within the broader context of Funko's strategy to revitalize popular animated classics through stylized, collectible vinyl representations. While the base design draws directly from the whimsical art style of Brad Bird’s film, the Diamond Collection version represents a common industry practice of re-releasing successful sculpts with specialized finishes. It was received by the collecting community as a quintessential piece for fans of the movie, serving as both a tribute to the culinary-themed story and a staple of the Disney-branded Funko catalog.
