RM

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Rocks series, this figure depicts RM, the leader and main rapper of the global South Korean boy band BTS. The collection was introduced to honor the immense cultural impact of the group, capturing the distinct aesthetic and vibrant energy that defined their 'Love Yourself' era. Funko collaborated closely with the management at HYBE to ensure the members' likenesses, hair colors, and signature stage outfits aligned with the official branding fans had come to recognize during the group's meteoric rise to international stardom.

The design process focused on translating RM's stage presence into the iconic, minimalist Funko silhouette. Designers emphasized his characteristic hairstyle and specific ensemble choices from the band's choreography-heavy music videos, aiming to create a recognizable souvenir for the group's dedicated fan base, known as ARMY. Upon release, the figure was met with significant enthusiasm, serving as a staple piece for music memorabilia collectors and becoming a focal point in the broader retail expansion of BTS-themed merchandise worldwide.
