Ruby

Ruby Knowby was released in 2017 as part of the Funko Pop! Television line, specifically dedicated to the Starz horror-comedy series Ash vs Evil Dead. The character, portrayed by Lucy Lawless in the show, represents a complex antagonist turned ally whose design reflects her signature dark, tactical attire and weaponized aesthetic from the second and third seasons of the program. This figure was produced during a period of high popularity for the Funko brand as they aggressively expanded their licensing to capture niche cult television followings.

The design follows the classic Pop! aesthetic with a stylized, oversized head and simplified facial features meant to capture the character's recognizable silhouette. Like many figures in this specific wave, it was intended to appeal to fans of the Evil Dead franchise who appreciated the transition of Sam Raimi's cult classic film series into a serialized television format. The figure was met with modest interest from horror memorabilia collectors who valued the inclusion of supporting cast members alongside the series protagonist.
