Provenance

Where it came from

Rui, the Lower Rank Five of the Twelve Kizuki, was released as part of the Funko Pop! Animation line to coincide with the popularity of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba franchise. Specifically numbered 1307 in the series, this figure depicts the character as he appears during the Mount Natagumo arc, capturing his spider-like aesthetic and chilling presence from the anime adaptation produced by Ufotable.

The Glow-in-the-Dark (GITD) variant was designed to highlight the character’s supernatural abilities and his connection to the Spider Family. Funko utilized phosphorescent materials on select parts of the figure to replicate the eerie, bioluminescent glow associated with Rui’s Blood Demon Art. It was received by collectors as a distinct piece within the broader Demon Slayer set, appreciated for its thematic accuracy and the visual flair added by the light-emitting feature.
