Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Disney line, this figure depicts Sally from the 1993 stop-motion classic The Nightmare Before Christmas. The item was designed to capture Sally’s iconic patchwork aesthetic and melancholic expression, reflecting Tim Burton’s distinctive gothic visual style that transitioned from film to collectible vinyl form.
The character, voiced by Catherine O'Hara in the film, became a centerpiece of the Nightmare Before Christmas Funko series. Like many figures in the early numbered Pop! Disney sets, this piece was intended to bridge the gap between niche cult-film fandom and the growing trend of stylized vinyl display figures, finding favor with collectors who appreciated the faithful translation of the film's character design into Funko's signature oversized-head format.
